Professional truck drivers are often unsung heroes. We rarely stop to thank a driver for safely bringing our groceries, clothing and all the other items that support us to market. At Bison, we like to think that trucking is the backbone of the Canadian economy. Being a professional Driver is an honourable and very important profession, and it also provides a great career for thousands of Canadians.

Being a professional driver truly is a lifestyle rather than a job. The work is challenging and ever changing but it can be very rewarding!

For someone considering truck driving as a career, it can be difficult to compare different companies, lanes, compensation and driving options (dry van, flatbed, reefer, team, etc.).
