Bison Transport is nationally known to be supportive of the communities it serves. We take great pride in participating in initiatives that empower, elevate and enable future generations to be the best they can be – after all, they might be tomorrow’s CEOs.

Bison executives Don Streuber and Rob Penner participated in Youth CEO, an initiative hosted by the Business Council of Manitoba. CEOs from around Winnipeg participated in this mentorship program to encourage the 16 teenagers to pursue careers in business. The group got a tour of Bison’s office and Bison’s sponsored student experienced all areas of the Winnipeg terminal from office jobs to going for a ride-along with drivers.

In July, Bison sponsored one of the students to take part in a work placement at the Winnipeg terminal.

Mearon Meresi got a firsthand experience of Bison operations and spent time with our analytics, fuel, HR, driver services, customer service, logistics, dispatch, LTL, safety and driver development teams. He also did a ride along with one of our city drivers. (Yes, all in one week!)
