The Annual Awards & Dinner Celebrations are a celebration of safety and business excellence and are the culmination of our dedication to safety and hard work throughout the year.

These awards give our people the opportunity to come together to enjoy one another’s company, enjoy a nice dinner and share some laughs. But most importantly, it’s a time to take pride in each other’s accomplishments.

Roger Maltman achieved Bison's highest safety milestone to date with 2.75 million safe driving miles!

This year we had over 1300 people attend these awards ceremonies which took place in all six terminal locations: Winnipeg, Mississauga, Calgary, Regina, Langley and Edmonton. A total of 990 awards were earned in 2014 and 313 award recipients were in attendance.

Videos were produced by Bison's Corporate Marketing Team recognizing employees earning Safe Driving Awards, Years of Service Awards, Technician Safe Work Hours Awards, Safe Lift Operator Awards and Corporate Awards.

Perhaps the best received video of the evening was a new addition to our video lineup – the blooper reel which features outtakes from various video shoots that took place throughout 2014. The video is very entertaining and highlights a few of our key core values – FUN, COMMUNICATION and PEOPLE!

To put on events of this scale it takes months of planning and a collaboration of people in all areas of our business. Some may wonder why Bison goes to such lengths to host such memorable events? The answer is very simple. Our people are worth it and they deserve the recognition.
