Football teams get together every week and review their previous performances, formulate a strategy for their next opponent, and then set team and individual goals. This concept is similar to what we do here at Bison. We regularly meet to discuss our performance last month and last week (utilization, on time delivery, etc.). During these meetings we set goals and commitments for the next week and for the next quarter.
The fourth quarter in football is the most important segment of the game, and in our business it is no different. This fourth quarter is always an exciting time of year here at Bison because it is when we differentiate ourselves from other transportation companies. The fourth quarter is when our brand shines the most and that is due to all the amazing people that work here at Bison. Another important aspect of the fourth quarter is our Drive To The Finish (DTTF) campaign which runs October 1st to December 31st. This campaign has been a success every year and we always surpass our previous year’s achievements. We are challenging Drivers to meet our customers’ expected increased seasonal shipping needs by once again offering a Driver Bonus campaign. Drivers are eligible to earn bonus pay each month when mileage utilization targets are met.
