Congratulations to our Drivers of the Month for March 2021. The Drivers of the Month are awarded a $250 Mastercard Gift Card and are now eligible to win the prestigious Driver of the Year award which earns bragging rights and $2,500 cash. Winners are selected based on the following criteria:
Abdul has recently been moved to Fleet E06. He has been more than willing to expand his range and accept loads going to Winnipeg and Thunder Bay so he can get his miles. We are grateful to Abdul for the smooth transition.
Jas has been with Bison for a number of years in a number of different positions. He conducts himself professionally and has built a great working relationship with fellow Drivers, office staff and customers. In the past month Jas has helped two different Drivers on two separate occasions. First, an Owner-Operator Driver had truck issues in Wisconsin and was going to be down for a number of days, possibly weeks. Jas gladly gave the Driver a ride back to Winnipeg, preventing the other Driver from having to spend extra days on the road waiting for his truck to be diagnosed and repaired. In the second situation, Jas was heading to the southeast U.S. when another Driver had a family emergency and needed to get back home to Winnipeg. Jas was asked to switch loads as he had a load that could deliver and reload back to Winnipeg faster than the other Driver’s trip to Georgia. This helped get the other Driver back to Winnipeg to be with his family. Situations like this embrace Bison culture and stand out. Jas would clearly be happy to do anything to help fellow Bison employees out and we thank him for this.
Shekh has been taking care of our night Amazon loads for quite some time. He has an exemplary record of zero service issues. Shekh has also been very helpful with other Drivers when it comes to the new PC*MILER based routings, by taking the time to discuss what the rate changes are, and helping them understand how the calculations work. Shekh taking extra time to advise others is much appreciated.
