East

Avninder Singh

Avninder is a new Driver and began his career with Bison in early January. He is pleasant to speak with and has never refused a load. We have been able to increase our current meat load volume in previously difficult locations, mainly because Avninder has been willing to do it. He has been assigned to the Bronx loads, which many Drivers refuse due to the location and often congested traffic in the area. Planners and dispatchers are very happy with him; he is always a pleasure to work with.

Central

Abhijeet Gill

Abhijeet is dedicated, safe and professional. He has always helped us out in our LCV (Long Combination Vehicle) network to service our expedited customers. Recently, he stopped in Swift Current in order to help, completing additional splitting and building of LCV sets to service Walmart loads. Abhijeet always shows a positive attitude and never questions helping us out in every situation necessary to service our freight and customers.

West

Shiva

Shiva has been a great addition to our team. He is always willing to help his fleet, and also goes out of his way to help other Drivers. Recently, one of our Drivers was involved in an accident causing a road closure, which in turn caused Shiva to be delayed for half the day. Once the road re-opened, Shiva didn’t have the hours necessary to get home, so had to get a hotel room. Later that same afternoon, Shiva discovered that the Driver who was involved in the accident was still at the scene, with no way back to the hotel. Shiva then left the hotel and drove back to the scene to pick up the other Driver. Once they both got some sleep, Shiva also gave the other Driver a ride back to Calgary. Upon arrival in Calgary, Shiva was asked if he could do some city work for a few hours. The city team was extremely backlogged due to the weather conditions. Shiva agreed to help out there as well. In another situation, Shiva was asked to bring a load out to another Driver who would end up late otherwise. Of course Shiva agreed, helping to prevent  the other Driver from running out of hours, as well as avoiding a late for an important customer.
