Bison Transport had a great couple of days at the 2020 TCA (Truckload Carriers Association) Annual Convention which was held in Kissimmee, Florida in March. The event saw us take a number of awards.
Bison Transport was recognized as one of the 20 Best Fleets to Drive For. This was the 10th time and 7th consecutive year that we have received this award.
Randy Kuryk who is based out of our Kelowna Terminal was selected as a Top 3 Finalist for the Company Driver of the Year Award and finished as a runner up.
Bison Transport received 1st place in the over 100 Million Mile Category in the National Fleet Safety Awards. This is the 14th consecutive year we have received 1st place. Unprecedented in the history of the awards, is our taking of the Grand Prize for the 10th consecutive year, and our 13th time since 2005. Congratulations is also in order for H.O. Wolding who received 3rd place in the 50-75 million mile category of the National Fleet Safety Awards. This was the first time they entered the competition.
