Congratulations to our Drivers of the Month for September, 2020. The Drivers of the Month are awarded a $250 Mastercard Gift Card and are now eligible to win the prestigious Driver of the Year award which earns bragging rights and $2,500 cash. Winners are selected based on the following criteria:
Sajid is a consistent Driver who is always willing to help out when needed. He was prepared to rescue a driver who had broken down in the U.S. and was prepared to stay overnight with the load on the broken down truck to ensure delivery the next day. The truck was repaired just before Sajid would have been there to rescue the driver, so was ultimately not needed for it.
Kevin has an exceptional safety record with zero accidents in 10.41 years. He has Safety as his number one priority. Kevin is always looking to help out and has great communication with Dispatch. For example, he recently took initiative, recognized that one of the trailers was parked on the shoulder, communicated the issue to Dispatch and helped to rescue the trailer.
Jasbir has always been very helpful and professional. He is a night scheduled Driver, however when he returned back to the yard, he saw a new Driver who was not able to set the axles right to get the weights legalized. Jasbir asked and offered his help without anybody asking him to do so. He also helped the same Driver to move a couple trailers in the yard before going home. He did this on his own time so that the other Driver could get to his trailer, which was buried behind other trailers.
