Congratulations to our Drivers of the Month for March 2022. The Drivers of the Month are awarded a $250 Mastercard Gift Card and are now eligible to win the prestigious Driver of the Year award which earns bragging rights and $2,500 cash. Winners are selected based on the following criteria:
Zulifigar is one of the most hardworking Drivers on fleet Q10. He provides excellent customer service and is willing to go above and beyond his job duties. He effectively communicates with the team and makes sure all deliveries are completed on time. Recently, a Driver on the X01 fleet was stuck waiting for his load as it was blocked by containers that he couldn’t move. While other city Drivers refused to assist, Zulifigar was willing to take time out of his day and help shunt for him. Bison recognizes this initiative and this is why Zulifigar was nominated for the Driver of the Month.
John consistently meets his required miles and days out, month over month, and will cover any lanes Bison runs. John works with his fleet and leadership team to make his and all other Bison Driver’s experiences the best they can be. John offers his view from the road to try and prevent situations from repeating themselves.
Larry reported that whilst travelling west out of Saskatoon, he observed a pickup truck passing him. He then observed the pickup fishtail and end up in the ditch, turning over several times. Larry brought his rig to a controlled stop and immediately offered assistance in the form of a sleeping bag and blankets for the driver, He also contacted emergency services and stayed on scene until the ambulance and police arrived. Thank you Larry for your actions!
