Congratulations to our Drivers of the Month for August 2021. The Drivers of the Month are awarded a $250 Mastercard Gift Card and are now eligible to win the prestigious Driver of the Year award which earns bragging rights and $2,500 cash. Winners are selected based on the following criteria:
Husnain is looked upon favorably both by his planners and his fellow Drivers in the PQ region. Since there is no physical support staff in the PQ region, Husnain looks after certain tasks to help alleviate issues for all Drivers there. He is very literate and well-spoken. Other Drivers trust in Husnain to relay their thoughts to the planning and dispatch fleet team. He is a solid performer who consistently does the right thing. We have no doubts he represents Bison in a bright light. Husnain comes highly recommended as Driver of the Month.
Werner was on his way to Alabama when customer service notified his fleet team that the receiver would not be able to offload him for his ETA, even though it was previously confirmed. Werner worked with his fleet to come up with possible solutions, including discussing the idea of getting an outside carrier to deliver the load, which would have been very costly. Werner offered to simply continue with his trip and wait a day to get offloaded, a solution that created customer satisfaction and overall business efficiency. His willingness to help stands out over and over again, and his behaviour warrants attention as Driver of the Month.
Rajindersing went above and beyond to rescue a Walmart load. As a result, he missed taking his reset at home, having to reset on the road instead. Rajindersing agreed to do this without any notice. His dedication to helping Bison deserves recognition as Driver of the Month.
