Congratulations to our Drivers of the Month for September 2021. The Drivers of the Month are awarded a $250 Mastercard Gift Card and are now eligible to win the prestigious Driver of the Year award which earns bragging rights and $2,500 cash. Winners are selected based on the following criteria:

We contacted a list of available Drivers to try to find someone to cover a difficult multi-drop weekend meat load that consisted of 820 miles over 3 days. We had found no one willing to cover, so top-up pay was offered to bring Drivers to a full day of usage. Closer to the end of the day, Sajid was asked as well. He was already planned on a much easier run, but agreed to change over to help cover this load. Sajid understood the urgency of having the meat load covered. He was reasonable with the top-up pay on the load as well. This was not the first time he had helped us out, and Sajid is always reliable, fair, and a team player.

Trevor has proven to be a great asset to the Bison team. He recently rescued a Maple Leaf Foods load, received his 250,000 mile award and certificate, and continues to hit his target Key Performance Indicator (KPI) numbers every month. Trevor has a positive attitude and is always willing to lend a helping hand.

Lijun has been a pleasure to work with since he started with Bison. He has kept up with 100% utilization on average. In August he covered a very important Coca-Cola night run for a 2 week span with no questions asked. He did this run with no service issues or complaints, and said that he will help Bison whenever necessary as he values teamwork and views his business with Bison as the best partnership. Lijun often asks his fleet team how he is doing on his metrics and stats, showing he cares and follows up about his progress regularly. He is conscientious and wants to ensure Bison thinks well of him. Lijun is also up-to-date on all courses, has no critical events, and no issues noted on the safety side of things. He is very thorough with communication and does not complain when he has a day with shorter moves. Overall, his eagerness to overachieve is refreshing, and his positive and pleasant attitude will take him far in the years to come as a valued member of Bison’s Owner-Operator business partners.
