Nov. 27 - A Bison Facebook ‘Name the Saskatoon Lounge’ contest resulted in "BUFFALO LOUNGE” as the name chosen by consensus.
On Friday, Nov. 27, the new Buffalo Lounge was officially opened in Saskatoon. This lounge was designed to give Drivers on resets/breaks a pleasant place to relax versus staying in their tractors at the neighboring truck stop.
The Buffalo Lounge is furnished with a desk featuring a computer with internet access, a pair of club chairs and a television with Netflix, and a small dining area equipped with two microwave ovens, a place to eat, and a small refrigerator. A water dispenser and a candy vending machine round out the amenities.
Although there is no running water or sink in the lounge, it still offers our Drivers a comfortable option for their time spent in Saskatoon. We appreciate everyone’s efforts to keep it clean and free of litter.
