This event has been adapted like many things in 2020. What has not changed is Bison Transport’s commitment to supporting this event. We are participating for our 11th consecutive year and are currently building our team so We Need You! In 2019 we raised over $160,000 for the CancerCare Manitoba Foundation, had 85 walkers on our team & contributed to collectively raising over $1,000,000 for CancerCare.
IN 2020 THE BLAZING BISON TEAM IS PLANNING TO:
- Not let Covid stop us! Cancer persists through the pandemic, it introduces even more challenges to patients, health care workers and caregivers.
- Continue our event leading participation 10 years participating.
- Take back our title as top corporate team (2nd place in 2019). Have fun and raise awareness and funds for CancerCare Manitoba Foundation.
Bison Transport’s participation is a family event, friends and family are all welcome to join our team. All team members are expected to meet the $250 fundraising minimum.

Details of this year’s event are as follows: Your virtual challenge can be done at one time or you can break it up over 20 days, August 1-20. Get as creative as you want with your challenge…at home, in your neighborhood, or a park! Just make sure you complete your challenge safely and follow physical distancing guidelines wherever you are.
You can do any challenge you like to reach either 20 kms or 200 minutes of exercise! Walk, cycle, swim, run or do a workout from aerobics to Zumba and everything in between. There are no limits! Take advantage of different fitness tracking apps to share your challenge with others.

Strive to pass the $250 minimum fundraising requirement! Challenge your family, friends and colleagues to maximize your fundraising. You will make such a tremendous difference to our province’s cancer patients.
We may not be coming together to celebrate the Challenge in person this year, but that doesn’t mean you’re alone. People from across Manitoba will be participating with you at heart.
Bison transport will cover the $25 registration fee for all participants on team Blazing Bison and there will be corporate support for team members meeting the fundraising commitment.
